Stuart Guber is a writer who leaves his dancer girlfriend and cuts his hair to try to make it in the mainstream society of Hollywood. He gets a job as a trainee in the office of a PR firm. | User ReviewBill BThis is about a guy who drops out of the rat race in favor of free love, then jumps back into the PR world, but our lead is named Stuart Guber, so you get the dynamic sounding name 'Stu Goober' being spoken over and over until I was wondering why no one was laughing in his face? The movie is okay, but not a helluva lot happens and the satire and jokes aren't as pointed as they'd like to think. The scary thing is, this is a revised version that added a ton of sex into the mix, so I can't imagine how boring it was before a producer decided it needed more titty. Rental? |
