User Review - 10/10 by Altered EIf Monty Python made a horror sketch compilation, it would look something like this. There's no telling how or why this movie exists. Was it a compilation of short films from film school? Or a film fest? Or is this simply the werid part of YouTube taken cinematic form? Each segment is too short-lived to develop any characters, and oftentimes the sketches aren't even scary (the one with hand puppets comes to mind). The tone varies wildly from vignette to vignette. A handful are worth watching, mostly as beginning concepts that could have made promising full length horror movies; unfortunately, the creators reduced them to five minutes long and sandwiched them between absolute trash. On the bright side, the failure of this compilation to be meaningful or scary is precisely what carries it into accidentally-hilarious territory. Furthermore, the rapid succession of plots keeps the audience from getting bored - a flaw that all too often discourages people from enjoying many bad movies. I eagerly await Volume 2. Apparently one of the producers and stars is composer Danny Elfman's daughter, and he wrote some music for one of the episodes.
