CinefantastiqueSteve BiodrowskiAn amusing account [of making From Dusk Till Dawn]... Much of it is off-the-cuff and entertaining.
New TimesLuke Y. ThompsonLonger than the movie whose construction it documents, this is nonetheless an entertaining (if sprawling) look behind the scenes.
User ReviewPatrick SGreat Documentary!! Rough and tough filmmaking!!
User ReviewAmanda FHow can you go wrong with a raw, real documentation of a film like this. Done very well and it exceeded my expectations! Makes the stars all seem more real!
User ReviewRobert IThere are days I like this doc more than the movie. This movie shows why all unions suck hard!
User ReviewJerry SThe absolute best "Making Of" feature I have ever seen. Very intimate and in-depth. Also a must see for people who want to make films for a living.
User ReviewTom SAnd that's a wrap for Thursday the 13th. Its actually gonna be okay. The footage of the chase was crappy, but there was one shot (a blooper) that we kept rolling on. Its a true happy accident because we can use it instead of the chase and it will have the same effect! I'm hoping that people will laugh at this piece. It will probably be up on the net within 3 weeks. Oh, and brownie points if you can guess what this is from: "Shoo, shoo said the maiden! Ahahaha!"
User ReviewBobby LBrilliant and long 'making of' for the From film Dusk Till Dawn. It covers absolutely everything in the film from effects and filming to interviews and behind the scenes footage :) There is much info and chat with director Rodriguez, make up man Tom Savini and all the cast, especially Tarantino and Clooney who both play up for the camera and offer much more than just talk haha This is very much like the doc 'Empire of Dreams' from the Star Wars franchise, in the same vein and top class in production, if only all films did this.
User ReviewRaoul DHaving me my very own Rodriguez film festival weekend. :)
User ReviewPrivate UTarantino and Clooney were cool actors and it was an interesting documentary.
