But Werner only endures mud baths and bland diets because he is looking forward to the subsequent vacation in the motorhome, in which his wife grudges her teeth. Karla has never liked camping, but Werner loves the call of nature. Both really try, but when Werner takes care of his cheerful camping friends Günther and Ursula more and more, Karla feels neglected and leaves angrily. On the way home, she receives the emergency call from her daughter Conny, who also imagined the well-deserved vacation with her husband Stefan differently. The two children Jule and Max keep their young parents so busy that they don't have a minute to talk about Conny's return to her job as a photographer. Without further ado, Karla goes to Amrum to relieve the two of them. Werner also arrives, but the waves do not calm down that quickly: While Karla takes care of the grandchildren in the cozy holiday home, Werner is allowed to spend the night in his beloved mobile home. The situation comes to a head when Werner meets the camping enthusiast widow Ruth and Karla the attractive Markus. Are 35 years of marriage forgotten so quickly?
