Movie NationRoger MooreHateful and appalling. On purpose. Just not funny.
User ReviewGrant WWalked by the tv and my roommate was watching this but was asleep so I watched it from the kitchen while I was cooking and let me just say I was never in a frat but this movie is obviously aimed at people in frats who are stuck constantly reminiscing on the old glory days and have nothing better to do than keep that dream alive by relating to this terrible film. Greek life is some dumb shit anyways, but hey if you wanna keep following pointless traditions without questioning it in the name of brotherhood then be my guest.
User ReviewJacques%20 dWow...this was bad. From the description and picture I saw on Netflix I expected some sort of dark thriller or horror film. But what'd I get instead? A comedy. That wouldn't be a problem at all if the film was funny, but is it? Definitely not. Frat Star is just cringey. It's not funny at all, with amateur actors that have little to no charisma, an unfunny script, poor direction, and so much squandered potential. This could've been a dark comedy or satire of college life. Instead it comes off as another one of those generic American Pie sequels. Lastly I'd like to mention that the film had odd audio problems. A character would be talking, until their voice would suddenly trail off and get extremely quiet. I don't really know how they could let that make it into the film, but hey it's pretty obvious nobody in the movie cared how it turned out. Do yourself a favor. Don't watch it.
User ReviewKendall MI distinctly remember being offered a day old oyster in the steaming hot Alabama sun and thinking, "that's a terrible idea. I'll let my friend Brian Falcon eat it instead." He ended up getting food poisoning and pooped his pants in a public swimming pool. This movie is the steamy hot poopy pants oyster shooter of films.
