User Review - 6/10 by Pranav KInteresting story. Great direction with terrific performances from the entire leading and supporting cast. All characters have gray shades and their vices are clearly illustrated. Maybe it's just me, but this fact decreased the suspense since I was in two minds whether the protagonist (Arjun) deserves to be relieved from the mess he's in. Nonetheless, it's a rather good film.
User Review - 4/10 by familiar sThis time around Deepak Tijori decides to remake (not the least surprising when you see Deepak Tijori/Vikram Bhatt/Mahesh Manjrekar's name as the director, among others. In fact, if you don't already know what's remake it is of, once inside the movie, you start trying to figure out which movie has this guy decided to fuck up this time) a relatively less known (well, at least for me) Hollywood flick, 'A Murder of Crows'. While I don't know how good or bad the original was, this remake surely wasn't a good one. While the basic plot was somewhat interesting, the execution is so poor that all it does is to take care that you don't remain hooked to your seat. It's so very full of clichés, plotholes & other distractions. I can understand a street boy selling newspapers (and certain other things like flowers, toys, etc.), but here one's shown selling a best-selling novel!!! And one of the characters, most of the time when he's on screen, is made to say his dialogues loudly. I know he's supposed to show his enthusiasm, but is it the only way to go for it? And if it is, it's done in a very fake way. Some of the portions are added in the story merely to add to the suspense & to shift your suspicions on other characters. No problem with that; many a suspense movies use that trick. But here, it's used quite inefficiently. It seems as if they're put in just to add to the length of the movie. At the end, the doubts that arise due to such situations are all left unexplained. And the lead actresses (Udita Goswami & Sagrika Ghatge) are made to wear as much less clothes as possible, regardless of what profession they belong to. As if they're there more to add to the glamor quotient than what the script demands for. While Arjun Rampal & Sunny Deol put in a decent performance, there isn't much they can do to Fix this Fox. The suspense is kinda predictable here, but a better execution could have made up for it. Unfortunately that's not the case here. Guess this one would have been more apt had it been made for TV.
User Review - 4/10 by ankush jGood Idea but killed it completely the second half. Could literally predict the next scene. It was directed alright, few places here and there could really find faults but other than that, an average watch and a ok way to pass time if u have it! hehe... 2/5
