Leave your thoughts about Flesh for the Beast.
New York TimesDave KehrFans of the genre -- or "gore hounds" as they are known in fandom -- will find plenty to enjoy in Mr. West's enthusiastic approach to his work.
The Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckAlthough cheap looking and amateurishly acted, Flesh for the Beast, which features a music score by the eccentric guitarist Buckethead, doesn't invite huge critical derision, if only for the palpable enthusiasm of both the cast and filmmaker for their gory shenanigans.
Village VoiceJorge MoralesIt's all gleefully over the top, but neither particularly campy nor scary. For those who like a little t&a with their blood and gore, however, Flesh for the Beast serves up ample portions of each.
New York PostV.A. MusettoThe script is obvious and cliched and the action is more disgusting than frightening.
TV Guide MagazineKen FoxDerivative, indifferently acted, artlessly photographed and awash in nudity and rudimentary gore effects, this direct-to-DVD feature mars the producing debut of longtime horror and exploitation distributor Media Blasters.
User ReviewAlex Gi cant even believe this app could find this movie. its full of succubi, blood orgys, bad acting and a soundtrack by buckethead. what more could you want in a movie.
User ReviewKari KDive head first into this campy low budget horror with plenty of humor and guts! As a men fall victim to a group of succubus' in a mansion. Stellar soundtrack from guitar genius Buckethead.
User ReviewJames TMuch better than I expected schlock that crosses Ghosthunters with naked demons and the occult in a very unique, Grindhouse-style presentation. Something spooky is going on at old Alfred Fischer's mansion (where he unleashed demonic succubi women years before) and now a bunch of parapsychologists go investigating throughout the house until, of course, they are ripped to shreds. Good for the never-ending amounts of titties, ass and bush that flows wildly beside massive amounts of gore and bad acting. Director Terry West specialized in crappy cinemax softcore porn (Lord of the G-Strings, anyone), but he really steps it up a notch (though this will not seem that more to the common moronic movie watcher) and really delivers a film that genuinely looks and feels as though it were made in the 70's era of devil films and had since been lost for a long time, until finally being uncovered in 2003. The acting is a bit shoddy, but is that really such a big surprise. It makes up for it with lots of unique and off the wall scenes. Kudos to the filmmakers for getting Buckethead (of all people) to do the soundtrack for this film. Fun stuff. If you aren't a fan of 70's Grindhouse-style horror films, please don't watch this or you'll bring the movies ratings down with your nonsensical rating.
User ReviewAlex JGratuitous violence and nudity.... what more do you need!
User ReviewCraig DYes, it's a very low budget horror film. But with that aside, the insanely metal sound track is well worth it. Plus LOTS-O-NUDITY!!!
