User Review - 10/10 by Naomi CIs it important for us to pursue our dreams? How do we deal with adversity along the way? Do we define our own success, or do we allow others to do that for us? Brian Nunes uses the music, life, and ideas of both street buskers and famous musicians to explore answers to these questions. These poignant stories are woven together with the tremendous beauty of Pike Place Market, Seattle, and life itself. Like a great street busker, "Find Your Way" gave me a smile and a fresh perspective. During the film, I found myself reflecting on what inspires me and I felt the need to start scribbling down a creative "to-do" list before the credits rolled.
User Review - 10/10 by Mike NCompelling, thoughtful film about how we define success; a heartfelt journey into the world of street musicians. We all can learn something from this great film. Beautifully made, this film makes one realize that success is an individual achievement that means something different to everyone. I highly recommend it for anyone trying to find their way.
User Review - 10/10 by Cindy TGreat shots of Seattle and great music, but the heart! The film really pulled me in...then sent me out feeling more connected to the world and more intentional about life.
User Review - 10/10 by Rick WI watched Find Your Way last night at the Uptown Cinema in Queen Anne, Seattle. This beautifully shot film did a fantastic job of telling these musicians stories, weaving back and forth between celebrities who've been in the business for decades and fresh faces following their hearts into the business of busking. The film did well at threading each story throughout the whole film without pulling me out of the narrative, giving careful attention to each enthralling character's journey. The editing for this documentary was especially well done with elements of animation and precise captioning that sometimes worked like comic relief instead of just text on screen. It was refreshing to watch a documentary without an obvious bias, just story. Well worth the watch.
User Review - 10/10 by Jagger GZen, ambition and The Presidents of the United States of America frontman (a former busker) coalesce in Find your Way. There has always been an uneasy relationship between man's impulse to create art and the practical necessity of making a living. Some people have FOUND A WAY (I just high-fived myself) to make it work, even without super stardom. The film also shows how set and setting prime audiences to appreciate some art over other art: an artist is playing a banjo on a street corner--keep walking. The same artist appearing on Conan--"Hey, this guy could be good, let's take a listen." The film explores so many worthwhile issues related to people trying to make a career, or just a life, out of art. Find your Way engaged me the entire way through and it moved me.
User Review - 10/10 by Stevor CFind your Way (a Buskers Documentary) is an excellent film filled with good humor and real pathos. You might even come away with a better understanding of not only their lives but your own! Highly recommended! Two thumbs up! Congrats to all involved but especially Mongé Whitney!
