Leave your thoughts about Feed the Fish.
KWQC-TV (Iowa)Linda Cook'Feed the Fish' is a quiet, funny movie that's a nice take on the old fish-out-of-water formula. The screenplay recognizes the formula and makes it enjoyable with quirky characters and the by turns gorgeous and stark backdrop of Door County, Wis.
Milwaukee Journal SentinelChris ForanWriter-director Michael Matzdorff, a Green Bay native, clearly has an affection for Door County ... But that makes the weather and other up-nort clichés all the more disappointing.
User ReviewTony TThis was a great movie. I was not in the mood for a big flashy high budget film and this one seemed to fit the bill. Shot in an area that I visit almost every year, it was very down to earth with some quirks to keep it interesting. Accept it for what it is and you will not be disappointed. Don't go if you are a cosmopolitan type person. You will not get this movie at all. But if you are down to earth, I think this movie might mean something more than you might otherwise expect. Enjoy!
User ReviewJamey PI loved this movie. So many eclectic Wisconsin things going on that outsiders will also enjoy.
User ReviewMichael MGood, quirky romantic comedy about a burned out children's book writer who travels to Wisconsin in winter to swim in a Polar Bear swim Christmas tradition.
User ReviewMartin BAn enjoyable indie comedy from the frozen North.
User ReviewLouis Fahhh now i find out something I dont like about the RT feedback and rating system - - when you 'star' a film it makes you 'LIKE' the page on facebook. urrrgh. ahhh yeah this film - I liked it, what else is there to say apart from the badger scene although bizarre actually worked well.
User ReviewNiklas SThe comedy is subtle, and in fact may be more realistic than your big Hollywood blockbuster because it consists of your day-to-day chuckles that humans are more prone to. There are big laughs too, but they don't overshadow the overall delightfulness of this indie comedy.
User ReviewSamuel BAn allright movie, nothing worth watching twice, but it has some funny moments.
User ReviewNot LCute movie, but I took more joy from seeing places I know in Door County than from the actual movie.
