Assignment X - 6/10 by Abbie BernsteinThere are a few dangling plot threads that seem as though they could have been woven together to make a stronger storyline, but overall, Fear Clinic delivers scares that are both plentiful and satisfying.
Bloody Disgusting - 6/10 by Trace ThurmanIt isn't an amazing film, but it has enough interesting ideas going on with some pretty great practical effects that make it a slightly above average film.
We Got This Covered - 5/10 by Matt DonatoFear Inc. wastes a devious idea on a slew of reveals that bring momentum to a crushing halt.
User Review - 10/10 by Karen SStarted off slow but quickly got more interesting. Loved it!!
User Review - 10/10 by Jason BThis is a truly unique film, it takes an interesting look at one of humanity's most intense emotions and turns it against us. At some point we must all face our fears but how do we face it's will to live?
User Review - 8/10 by Bruno VI watched "Fear Clinic" with my friends and we know to be a very tough audience to please, because we are horror movies junkies. We enjoyed this movie from start to the end. It has a very unique and intelligent story that I didn't see anywhere else. It is about a doctor, actually his device, that is suppose to cure greatest fears (phobias). Device works, but not in the way expected. There are some decent scares here and the chicks in the movie are smoking hot. CGI and makeup effects are amazing for a low budget movie. Highly recommend it!
User Review - 8/10 by Scott SFlawed in places, but a strong first instalment in what could be a very promising series.
User Review - 6/10 by Stef TBeen wanting to see this for some time. Some interesting conceptual ideas based around previously unexplored aspects of psychology which could have been explored more thoroughly if it was a mini\-series rather than a stand alone feature. On the plus side there were some good, committed performances from both the legendary Robert Englund and from Fiona Dourif (i.e. Brad's little girl). My one complaint was that director Robert Hall didn't do nearly enough with Corey Taylor. Thanks to Slipknot, the dude was a Horror icon long before he started acting but really wasn't given enough material to work with. It was pretty cool seeing him rock out to his own music on the car radio in a rare though enjoyable self-reflexive moment, but he was never truly given the chance to fully explore his range of emotions. Instead, he was given some bland comic relief-come-jerk character who really didn't do all that much (sort of like Leigh Whannell in 'The Conjuring' films). Meh! I shouldn't complain. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson barely had any screen time in Mummy Returns and now he's a leading man, so I don't know...some day I guess. :-/
User Review - 4/10 by David CIn a way a homage to the classic horror formula, but with some of the most unbalanced...everything ever put to film. The direction and editing are both plain bizzarre, ranging from proesffional to amateour in its most basic form. The acting is also a mixed bag, and the horrible pace doesnt quite help to put all these problems aside.
User Review - 4/10 by Orlok WCannot say this plot is anything original in the sense of "survivors coming together after dramatic experience." I immediately thought " O, this is like Final Destination." With that said, it does branch away from that scenario towards the end and has a completely different ending... Nightmare on Fear Clinic--'Fear Clinic' has an strong cast, thoroughly led by Robert Englund. The movie as a whole was incredibly strong, what started off as an incredibly slow build up actually built the story up rather nicely and gave us some in depth character building and information, it is rare to see a good character build in indy horrors but Fear Clinic did it maybe even too much at times... 'Fear Clinic' hits the mark!!
