Sofia is engaged to Alex, a committed Christian who ignores her sexual needs; she's able to reawaken his libido when she starts losing weight, but she discovers that he's attracted to heavy women. Leonor has turned to food for comfort while her boyfriend is in the States. And Andres is a scientist married to Beatriz; they and their daughter are overweight, while their son is not. As slender Abel tries to guide his clients to healthier and happier lives, he's forced to confront his own issues with fat people when his wife Paula balloons out during pregnancy.
