Fandry is a story of his aspirations, quest, sorrows, anguish and frustrations. Fandry also touches upon the age old monster of Caste System which is still lurking large upon the society.

| User Reviewgary tWOW......WOW......WOW....SO SO SO SO POWERFUL......MAN I HAVE JUST SEEN THIS MOVIE 4 THE 1ST TIME N THINK THAT THIS IS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE 2 WATCH.......ITS GOT A GOOD CAST OF ACTORS/ACTRESSESS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE.......I think that Chhaya Kadam, Kishore Kadam, play good roles/parts throughout this movie......I think that the director of this drama/kids/family movie had done a great job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie.....man this is such a really powerful drama movie 2 watch......I think that this is such a really well written/acted/directed movie 2 watch..,... The film was praised at the Mumbai International Film Festival and was subsequently picked up by Zee Entertainment for distribution rights in Maharashtra in 125 to 150 screens. Vivek Kajaria, who produced the film along with Nilesh Navalakha, said "Fandry is one of the most awaited films of recent times and we have decided to go very strong on our marketing. Our partnership with Zee Entertainment has helped us a lot. We are trying our best to give it a wide release and hoping that the word-of-mouth will help us grow. Then it's up to the audiences really." The film released allover Maharashtra on 14 February 2014 and its going to release in Gujrat, Madhyapradesh and Goa along with 12 states in INDIA on 28 February 2014 Fandry received good reviews from critics in India and abroad. The film was a good commercial success. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Mumbai International Film Festival. The film released theatrically on Valentine's Day February 14, 2014. | User ReviewPavan MIt makes your heart ache, it makes you cry, it makes you think. ?#?Fandry? a powerful Marathi cinema. It not only has a great theme but also made with great cinematographic prowess. Has a melancholic theme but presented very well and the actors have delivered a powerful and enchanting performance in equal parts. Qudos to the producers/directors and to the Marathi audience for making room to such non-commercial theme without which it is impossible to make such movies! |
