| Gay City NewsSteve EricksonAt its best, "The Naked Room" gives a voice to some of society's most troubled and marginalized people, in a style that clearly reflects a great deal of thought about the moral implications of form. |
| User ReviewDavid GExtraordinarily powerful, though extremely tough going to watch these traumatized children. These are kids trapped in their own circumstances, in their own minds. It is extremely difficult to watch their inescapable heartache and mental anguish, especially for kids so young. The camera work allows only concentration on the kids faces - while the images push by, the viewer is no more able to escape the anguish of the children than they are - stories of crime, abuse, and emotional trauma - until the film is over though it will stick with you long after. Powerful but extremely difficult. |
