Laid-off Susanne expected Jens's financial help for Jana's veterinary study, but he's not rich and Jana doesn't want to 'beg'. Jana finds Mexican cash aboard Jens's yacht, presumable from the former owner, which he cashed in Athens. Nikos is ordered to arrest him as suspected drug dealer, but Jana seduces lover Nikos to risk his job, even the precinct' budgetary survival, to help prove Jens's innocence, helped by a hastily drug-trained street dog.
