User ReviewRobert HSeems that in order for The Asylum to put out a good movie they need Mark Atkins involved. Here he is directing, editing, writing and the DP of yet another well done low budget film. Set in what looks like the same location as another dragon film (Reign of Fire), this film manages to tell a story and make it look bigger than it really is thanks to good camera placement, good editing and a story that almost seems as though it could have been a portion of a Conan picture complete with evil wizard and a curse of gargoyles. Quite enjoyable compared to most the stuff that comes out of The Asylum and worth checking out for fans of the genre. As long as you remember this is a low budget film, and can get passed the less than stellar CG work, you should have a good time with it. And can we please see more of Shinead Byrne? That woman is gorgeous and has some acting talent to boot (another rarity in these Asylum films)!
User ReviewJames HKnights. Dragons. Pirates. Zombies. A graduate of St. Xena's School of Badassery and Fine Arts. This movie has it all. It is unique in the sense that instead of teaching actors to do stunts, the skilled swordsmen, horse riders, and archers get their dream come true to star in a film. The stunt coordinator was incorporated as a new character because she was just too good to sit behind the scenes. Yeah, it's a little campy, but embrace it!
User ReviewColin GTypical SyFy channal fair with poor effects and less of a story but it was a fun watch.
User ReviewBob FI thought Ed Wood had reincarnated as Mark Atkins. This has to be one of the worst films I've ever seen. So bad that it's funny ... well almost funny. That poor actor who played Neem. She wore one expression for 90% o the film. While some of the acting was quite good, the film lacked direction, consistency and a solid storyline.
User ReviewThais CComment unnessesary.. or maybe I should quote some reports from the cover: "Highly watchable and entertaining" 7,5/10 Dan's Movie Report. "Dragon Crusaders is so good" 3/4 Movie Mavericks. I think not...Terrible dialog and as always not the greatest cgi. But mostly just stupidness, like hiding on a slope, becouse apperantly no dragon can circle around to attack from the other direction..
