Carlos Kindermann (Alvaro Muñoz) is a Swiss-Chilean citizen who travels to Chile to receive an inheritance after the death of his father. The lands he inherits are home to a mapuche community in the Araucanía region. There he will meet the Machi (Maria Porma) and Antilef (Joel Maripil) a community leader, who along with his people live in community and harmony with nature, the cosmos and their traditions. A senator (Luis Vitalino) wants to buy at all costs the lands of Carlos Kindermann whose health is deteriorating with the passing of days. Carlos will be faced with a lifestyle he did not know and whose experience and encounter will be decisive in his decision.
