A senator (Luis Vitalino) wants to buy at all costs the lands of Carlos Kindermann whose health is deteriorating with the passing of days. Carlos will be faced with a lifestyle he did not know and whose experience and encounter will be decisive in his decision. These visions of the world that the film shows us, the capitalist on the one hand and the ancestral one in which the native peoples (mapuches) live, are after 500 years, still a conflict without solution in the southern Chile.
