User ReviewJohn Vdefinitely ODD. iT'S A MOVIE WITHIN A MOVIE WITHIN A MOVIE. a MOVIE IS CROWDED FUNDED BUT WHILE IT'S BIGGEST SUPPORTER HAS A GREAT LOVE OF MOVIES, HE HAS NO APPTITUDE AND KEEPS WANTING TO CHANGE THE FILM.
User ReviewChris FI was one of the crowdfunders, and I believe this was worth it. It was weird, strange, and great all at once.
User ReviewMichele BThis film is one of the most amazing films I have ever seen. The levels of meta made this one of the best viewing experiences I've had recently. If you appreciate film making, B films, self referential comedy and so much more this film is for you!!!
User ReviewChris BA strange, different, and fun movie. Merges the standard found footage, police drama, and stalker movies in a on the crazy funny way.
User ReviewDebi Swhat a crazy roller coaster of a ride a weird, wacky off-beat movie within a movie very meta, very kooky next i'd love to see the embedded "Knocked Off" spun off into a film of it's own. perhaps director Adam Rifkin will oblige?
User ReviewChris JI had the pleasure to view this movie at Fright Fest in London and had to wait a few more years before Epic Pictures and Dread Central picked up this amazing. It's was a crowd funded movie about a crowd funded movie but don't let that put you off. It might be a bit wacky and crazy but that is down to the main crowd funder of the crowd funded movie deciding that the film that Adam Rifkin is directing isn't the right film for Missi Pyle..... so why not make your own version of the slick hollywood movie that Rifkin is in the process of filming.. Its sounds complicated but with Herbert Blount giving his directors commentary over 'his' version of the 'hollywood' movie within the crowd funded movie you soon get into it. It genuinely is a cleaver film!! I can't wait to get my hands on the blue-ray just so I can listen to the real directors commentary over the main feature that was hijacked by Herbert Blount.
User ReviewDavid BI had a chance to watch the film last night and I was glad that I did. The film is unique in it's perspective and storytelling. The story is not hard to follow but very much intelligent and witty. It is hard to describe but the movie makes you feel like you are physically there somehow, like you are observing everything as a knowing bi-stander. I would absolutely recommend you see it!
User ReviewRyan HDirector's cut is such a great satire of film crowd funding. This movie does two things teaches you filmmaking techniques as well as, term names for shots, and it shows a behind the scenes of the movie making process. This movie is a theatre going experience that must be seen with an audience that gets the dark humor.
