Accidentally, the dog is fed some and, as a result, is growing all the time; eventually, he's the size of an ocean liner. As weird animals are attractions, Digby is stolen by two well-dressed hoods and sold to a circus, from which Digby escapes, hunted by the military, both Army and Air Force!

User ReviewAlan Ti wasnt even born when this came out, but its a favorite still, i recomend this to all kids from the age of 7-15 its funny and has a very big dog in it.
User ReviewScott CI remember watching this as a kid and it's probably the reason that I now own an Old English sheepdog ! Think a British comedy version of King Kong !!! Digby drinks an experimental liquid which causes him to grow and grow to gigantic proportions - this leads to national panic and the army are sent in to destroy him. I'm not going to give it all away but watching it again all these years later I still love it :o)
User ReviewAnthony VSort of Disney meets Fawlty Towers blend of humor. Mixes broader comedy that will appeal to kids with subtler chuckles for the adults (the scene in the diner is a personal favorite).
User ReviewLynda SA great family film about a loveable sheepdog called Digsby who mistakenly eats some special growth potion and becomes the biggest dog in the world. Films like this are not made anymore, full of innocence and happiness and it would make sense that this film gets remade because seeing the huge Digby is pretty well done, even for an old film, and would be great in 3D for the kids. As it is this reminds me that 3D is ot the saviour for movies as sometimes the classics are simply better.
User ReviewJason JUsed to be on British TV every Christmas when I was a child. Yes, it's silly but I just love it for it's nostalgia.
User ReviewPrivate UGood old fashioned fun, wow 73' I loved this film as a kid and still do now! oh and it Jim Dale
User ReviewCem "Regi" "Pixelmannen" .classic kids movie, would love to see it again.
User ReviewMasorad (A staple part of the x-mas televisual schedule for many years as a child it holds much nostalgic favouritism....I'd imagine it looks rather dated today but I'm sure it would still not fail to entertain
User ReviewJames MThis isn't actually that bad considering how dated it is. The special effects are reasonable for it's age.
User ReviewSamitha BI remember watching this at least 10 years ago
