| User ReviewCarl NNot one of Francos best efforts. Plus considering the fact that he has stated that he hates cannibal films and this very much shows. The pace of the film is so slow, lots of the film is padded out with long shots of greenery and abysmal music. And when you finally get to see some action it is poorly done and all too brief. I wasnt expecting an Oscar worthy film from a cannibal movie. But I did at least expect some cannibals? |

Not so much in the acting,which is standard exploitation quality,but in the lackluster dubbing of the dialogue and the sound in general. I also have to admit that,i had watched Franco's,"Eugenie De Sade," about two days before this one and was hoping for more of Franco's combination of gorgeous women and sleaze. I got the sleaze,as the rape and naked fondling scenes didn't let down. For fans of bottom of the bucket entertainment,but still better than most of what hollywood passes of as entertainment these days. |
| User ReviewRobert HThis is classic cannibal exploitation filmmaking if I've ever seen it. Nudity, gore, and a sex crazed killer cannibal with bugged out eyes makes this an interesting tale. It's too bad the copy of the film I saw was just terrible as I'm sure I would have enjoyed the film much more if I could have actually seen more of it. Being a Jess Franco joint, it does have a cult following but I think that's about as far as a film like this will ever go. At least the story is easy to follow despite jumping around at first. |

QWhen I love a campy movie (because I usually hate them) is because they have soul, charm and become more than just a three-cents-budget movie with bad performances and a ton of hilarious unintentional comedy. Unfortunately, this one doesn't belong to the list of trashy films that I love simply because it's only funny (in a bad way, of course) without delivering the goods. It's just bad, it's not bad-but-enjoyable. And so, I hated it. A couple of great things about this movie: the title in spanish (Cannibal Sex!) and the fact that I watched it on TV and it was followed by "Rocky V"... priceless |
| User ReviewJeff WAnother garbage cannibal film from Franco. This one isn't as bad as "Cannibal Terror", but it's definitally not worth wasting time on. The f/x are shoddy as usual and the characters are like c ardboard. The natives are fairly interesting though (in a funny way), they're not the usual indian looking guys, they're black dudes that look very out of place. |

There is a tribe near by who love munching on womens labias & not in an oral sex way. Gruesome as we get a Franco zoom as the savage chews away. Not much else happens which chalks this up to one big borefest |
| User ReviewPaul JAnother insanely unapologetic exploitation flick. A naked black man with ping pong balls in his eyes wrestles to the death. At the very least, it's something I've never seen before. 'Uncle' Jess Franco is the king of perversity and Devil Hunter is no exception. The lead star is a Playmate of the Year and Franco doesn't waste any time showing off her assets. The film is unbelievably ridiculous with tons of nudity and absurd dialogue. From a certain point of view, it's a total comedy. |
