| User Revieweddie sOMFG, I'm 36 and this was my first time watching this. So many parallels, my own father is basically Willy. It hit me hard when Biff broke down in his father's arms and said "I'm not a leader of men" I can relate to so much of this movie. |

| User ReviewMichael CI first met Willy Loman my freshman year in college in an American Literature class. I found it intense then, but now, 35 years and three children later, I find it more intense and even a little disturbing. I understand Willy's character in a whole new way now, though I must concede I've been much more fortunate than Willy. Dustin Hoffman is always a magical actor, bringing just the right touch to every role I've seen him play, and they have been many and varied throughout the years. |

Hoffman won an Emmy for his stirring portrayal of Willy Loman, the aging salesman who realizes he's past his prime and tries to come to grips with the life he's wasted and the family he's neglected. Reid also turns in a fine performance as his long-suffering wife. John Malkovich and Stephan Lang also star as the Willy's sons who have bought into his version of the American Dream. a very moving adaptation. |
