User Review - 10/10 by Melancholy PBrilliant! funny, (sad, but so tragic you want to roll over laughing!) the songs and the mini-shows that go with it are great, and it's funny how she snaps back to reality every once in a while. seeing that i'm the first one to review it, i smile thinking about everyone who may or may not see it, and this movie shows an exceptional glance into her mind, since reading the books they don't tell you. this movie is, by any glance, great and fun! it shows you how Jamie Kelly thinks, how reality is and the wonderful life she struggles to lead.

User Review - 10/10 by anjelica G"Dear Dumb Diary" is an incredibly funny and cute movie. "Dear Dumb Diary" is about Jamie Kelley (Emily Alyn Lind) who to survive middle school years, writes in her diary. She has a big imagination and wants to save her school art program by winning a jump-a-thon. Unfortunately, she has a lot of bumps in the road. She has to deal with the popular girl who everybody loves, her crush who always happens to see her at the wrong times, and her selfish best friend. In the end, Jamie learns the true meaning of life and learns tons of lessons along the way. What I like about this movie is the message. The message in the movie is even though you might think your life is over because of a traumatic middle school event and you might want to go to a deserted island but DON'T! Even though something bad might've happened, most likely no one will ever remember it in a year or two. What I didn't like in the movie is how the cast was supposed to be middle school but they look a bit young to be middle school students. All the characters are extremely funny. My favorite character is Isabella (Mary-Charles Jones) because she is a geeky-girl, fashionista, "sass master" all in one. She's extremely funny and always makes me laugh with her big round glasses. My favorite scene is when Isabella and Jamie go to an old lady's house to collect money for a fundraiser. The old lady is actually hard of hearing and misunderstands what they are asking for and ends up giving the girls a big bag full of her grannie panties. It is so funny because of the expression on the girls' face but they make the best out of the situation and embrace the experience. I recommend this movie for ages 10-13 because this movie is like a guide of how to survive middle school years. I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars because it makes me laugh so much and it is so cute. You can catch this movie on the hallmark channel airing September 6th. Reviewed by Jailene Arias, KIDS FIRST! Film Critic.

User Review - 6/10 by Daniel M4 a movie geared towards tween girls, u know, I watched it & was surprisingly decent (don't judge me lol). The girl actress in it seems very talented
User Review - 4/10 by Toni BThis movie was good the first time I saw it, but my mom gave me some good points on how snarky and obnoxious the main character is, and how girly it is. I am a boy, so I'm surprised I didnt think that the first time. I hope the new Dork Diaries movie coming out is less .like this, and more like The Baby-Sitters Club or Ramona and Beezus
User Review - 2/10 by Danika Rthis movie sucked why is it a musical? the girl acts like she's being held hostage to say these lines the acting is so forced. This movie is the bane of my existence.
