Sci-Fi Movie PageJames O'EhleyThe game is always better and Dead Space: Downfall is no exception.
Más GamersSebastian Zavala KahnIt's a pity. A "Dead Space" movie had the potential of being truly scary, but that's not the case of "Dead Space: Downfall". [Full review in Spanish]
User ReviewZachary HAMAZING movie, but not for someone who can't handle quite a bit of blood and gore. A very good plot. One of those movies that's very confusing at the beginning, but it all makes sense in the end.
User ReviewCallum CAs a prequel to the Dead Space game, this film by far beat my expectation as just being a dodgy spin-off from the game. The game was great with the amount of gore, set peices, puzzles and the atmosphere. The film got all that in the prequel and some more with more gore, aliens and more atmosphere, with more of a combat storyline. Fans of the game will love, definatley worth a watch.
User ReviewAdam KI will love if you're an dead space fan.
User ReviewJuliano SThis was definitely a great tie-in to the video game!
User ReviewPaul BA good film, it doesn't hold back on the violent realism i.e. A punch sounds like a punch, and because it is animated, it can throw in a few extras that only big budget films can afford.
User ReviewDiana OI love this flick, event though its a cartoon
User ReviewJames TSets up what's about to happen when Issac Clarke arrives on the Ishimura. Just about as cheerful as the game if you know what I mean. Also showcases the stupidity of religious fanatics.
User Reviewcharles sThis movie was great and a great addition to the Dead Space saga. Fills in many plot holes from the first game. The animation is a bit dated as compared to more modern anime, but as for something coming out of 2008 it's passable. All of the characters are not necessarily likeable, but they are interesting, something the other reviewers for this movie can't seem to grasp. Nor does it seem that either of the top reviewers have played any of the games either, so their reviews are best left ignored.
