Lazar, a feared bounty hunter know for killing the bounties rather than taking them alive goes to a small gold mining town to blackmail Barrett, a former bandit and now a gold mine owner who is ruling the little town with a iron fist with the help of his band of hard men. Lazar is followed to the town by a young gunfighter with an agenda of his own. Lazar eventually teams up with the gunfighter to conclude the blackmail, but not everyone is after the gold....
