Movie Reviews

Ozus' World Movie Reviews - 7/10 by Dennis SchwartzThat it is awkwardly conceived, the premise is absurd and it's just not funny, are its major flaws.
Fantastica Daily - 6/10 by Chuck O'LearyA real stinker in 1988, and it hasn't improved with age.
Reel Film Reviews - 5/10 by David Nusair...succeeds solely as a showcase for some admittedly jaw-dropping special effects.
Los Angeles Times - 3/10 by Michael WilmingtonIt's a literate though strained uplifter.
Chicago Tribune - 3/10 by Johanna SteinmetzWilliams and Piscopo seem to be on autopilot when delivering their lines, not relating to one another, not picking up each other`s timing.
User Review - 10/10 by Tuomo TSymnopsis Don't Match Movie Picture. But The Movie That Is Shown Is Excellent
User Review - 10/10 by Tyler Bi love this movie. its old now but a very funny movie. a must see.
User Review - 10/10 by Jim BJoe Piscopo is one of Hollywood's most gifted actors. Treat Williams is always a treat on screen.
User Review - 10/10 by Clare PDead Heat is a buddy cop movie with zombies. It's a great movie, with such notable names as Treat Williams, Joe Piscapo, and the legendary Vincent Price. It's basically about two cops investigating a bank robbery by two men who were apparently zombies. While investigating, they find a machine that brings dead people back to life. Roger Mortis (one of the cops played by Treat Williams) dies, and is resurrected by Doug Biggelow (the other cop, played by Joe Piscapo). They then have 12 hours to solve the mystery of Roger's death before Roger completely decomposes! It's all genius! Adding Vincent Price just makes it even better! If you want to see a movie that represents the 80s, see TerrorVision. But, you should also see this one. However, one thing that drives me NUTS is that Joe Piscapo's character will not stop making terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE one-liners! Such as, "Remember the good old days when guns used to kill people?" and many, many more. They're so bad, they're hilarious! I also really like the make-up on Williams as he slowly decomposes, until half his face is ripped off and he goes around like that. One cop even tries to arrest him, and you should see the look on that policeman's face when this zombie with half his face ripped off shows him his badge! Overall, a great film and definitely worth watching.
User Review - 10/10 by Mitzi DeMarcoI like this film. My older brother and I used to watch it back in the day on HBO. He gave me that poster he was talking about in his comment. :-)
