| User ReviewDavid SHistorical Drama!? Save yourself a lot of time and money, if you are thinking of buying this on DVD. I got it on an old VHS tape and watched it to the end. Whoever was the researcher for this BBC film should be hung. It is full of flaws from beginning to end. The cast tries to make the script work but having Billy Connolly as the central man doesn't help this dross. If you want to find out about the man called Deacon Brodie then my advice is buy a book. The one star is for the Cover for the tape. |
