Real Queen of Horror - 0/10 by Zena DixonOverall, I simply cannot recommend this film to anyone. It's barely there, it's just over 70 minutes.
User Review - 6/10 by Peter HWell this was different, some nice gory scenes like womans hand in a grinder, acting wasnt upto much but thats expected.
User Review - 6/10 by Nia EDangerous Worry Dolls is the Charles Band-directed Full Moon film about a women's Detention Center (for hot women only apparently) where the weak are bullied and beat up by the tough, thug supermodel criminals, not to mention harassed by the tough warden and raped in porno films made by the guards. Boy, life is tough! Things get interesting when the lead heroine's daughter brings her mommy some worry dolls which make your worries go away if you pray to them before you go to bed and put them under your pillow. Soon, one of the little buggers gets inside the chick's head and then she starts dishing out some revenge. When weighed against other Full Moon films, this one isn't all that great, BUT it wound up being better than I though, with some interesting (and somewhat original) scenes. The acting is godawful, but that was to be expected. Overall, not too bad. Definitely an amusing time-killer.
User Review - 6/10 by Tarrin RHahahaha! The cheesier, the better.. This movie is so much fun!
User Review - 4/10 by James CWhen an incarcerated mother is given a set of worry dolls by her daughter to help her through the final few months of her prison sentance, she could never expect them to help her in the way they do. When you see a Full Moon movie with the word "dolls" in the title, you automatically expect a 'tiny terrors' fest that the studio has become well-known for - unfortunately not in this case. The story is hokey (even by b movie standards) and the ending is so abrupt that it makes no sense whatsoever. The effects are minimal and not particularly well handled, and the title creatures only appear briefly. Even though it still has the odd charm that Charles Band brings to his projects, I can't help but feel a little let down by this poorly made movie.
User Review - 2/10 by Allan CCharles Band set a little late to the game to be making a women-in-prison film, even with his addition of horror elements. Not that the 1970s women-in-prison films were big budget affairs, but this film seemed cheap by even Charles Band/Full Moon Pictures standards. The story here is a standard prison story of a good girl sent to prison for a minor offense and then wishing on some South American worry dolls to help her with the evil guards, prison warden, and other prisoners. From their, the dolls crawl into her ear at night and possess her with powers to exact her revenge. Band seems to love movies about deadly little creatures (i.e. Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, Dolls, Dollman, Shrunken Heads, etc.), but this film seemed nowhere as enjoyable as those. Not recommended for even Full Moon Pictures fans, even for the Richard Band theme music or for the enjoyable cheesy special effects (which there were not enough of).
User Review - 2/10 by Keenan SUtter crap with some "LOLWTF" moments.
