User ReviewJason CHilarious. The creature is a cross between Homer Simpson and the Cookie Monster. If you take it seriously it stinks, but it's hilarious otherwise.
User ReviewCalum SSo funny and shitty. One of the best movies I've seen.
User ReviewSherry WThis movie is amazing...one character only speaks in animal noises and the monster is clearly a shag carpet with ping pong balls for eyes.
User ReviewDonna APretty horrible. One underwater scene showed a sunken ship and a trunk with fish swimming by. The fish were as big as the danged ship. Aquarium much? The two characters in love who speak only in animal noises, the phone on the deserted island, the fake Bogart and Bacall, and on and on. Horrendous and yet, we were spellbound and watched the whole thing.
User ReviewDimitri TWhy isn't this a better known cult movie? It is enjoyably goofy. "My real name is XK-150." "As an American gangster and gambler, you are naturally above suspicion."
User ReviewD MIf you're looking for a corny espionage-slash-crime-slash-monster film, look no further. Unlike the title implies, there is nothing haunted about this movie. No ghosts, no spirits--just a big shaggy carpet that does some killing. But not MUCH killing--more deaths are actually delivered at the hands of the shady cast of characters. But I digress. This movie is pure ridiculousness from the get-go. Awkwardly hilarious dialog intersperses tedious plot.
User ReviewMike NA great demented movie. At last i purchased a dvd here in Italy with italian subtitles. That's great to understand those outta mind lines, it worth one star moreI Liked the 'Cuba revolucion' comics...and the monster, for sure !
User ReviewHayden LAn delightfully silly parody of spy films and monsters, with a fittingly corny monster.
User ReviewDann Lo Bad, It's Good! A crook decides to bump off members of his inept crew and blame their deaths on a legendary sea creature. What he doesn't know is that the creature is real. A Roger Corman classic. The undercover cop is crazy for the dish, who wouldn't wipe her armpits with him! Hilarious stuff!
User ReviewAndreas Odon't ask me why but I actually enjoyed this campy movie.
