eFilmCritic.comDavid CorneliusThis is a touching drama trapped inside a dopey one, and sometimes, when the timing's just right, the touching drama breaks free.
User ReviewJo MI do enjoy me some stories about crazy folks. It was a little rushed at times, but the acting was solid and the script was witty. Definitely a movie I'd watch again. Loved Letty's character, and Michael's too, of course. The kind of people I would befriend in real life most definitely.
User ReviewJohn PLoved this movie. Woman has a breakdown and meets a guy in the psch unit. On Netflix Instant watch.......
User ReviewChristopher YReally good story about the thin line between sanity and schizophrenia, amidst a love story. Good acting but a bittersweet ending.
User ReviewSonia LI liked it! My only complaint was that it dragged a tiny bit in the end, but otherwise good.
User ReviewBrandon LVery true to life-meaning, I have lived this story. Well, minus Bruno Campos (that would be overkill)
User ReviewPrivate UThis movie was so adorable. I guess you can find love anywhere. Two institutionalized people discover love. Reiko Aylesworth does as incredible job as Letty (Leticia) Mayer, a young, beautiful teacher who has the world at her fingertips. Or so it seems. As the story moves on, you quickly see that Letty's life isn't the bed of roses that it seems. Through the progression of the story, we go with Letty as she re-learns to live her life to the fullest and develops a real joy in everyday living that makes you smile as your watching. Bruno Campos plays Michael perfectly, charming, funny and just the type of man you'd want to sweep you off your feet. Almost.... She had OCD and he SCHIZOPHRENIC. It does indeed have it's fair share of cheesy moments and romantic-drama clichés, but get over them. It does away with a cheap-shot ending and left me going "huh...that actually was a REALLY GOOD movie!"
User ReviewKatie SInteresting setting...mental institution? It showed the stigma mental illness has. Glad Letty got back on her feet so to speak. Too bad things didn't work out, but we never really thought they could right? That's CRAZY!
User ReviewDrew WCute film, but very much held a more realsitc view of mental illness. Great acting, nice soundtrack, and overall a movie I would view again.
