Movie Reviews

User Review - 8/10 by Jim SNice to see this straighforward Scottish thriller, with the scarily sexy Keeley Hawes. Jonny Lee Miller is just too, too young looking... somehow I think the characters ought to be in their mid 30s. Plot is more central here than in the book, so it is a fairly rapid paced film and perhaps a little confusing, but hard to tell for someone who has read the book first.
User Review - 2/10 by Chris SThis is a prime example of how to get a book adaptation completely wrong, in attempts at cutting it down to size they combine events and mix up timings of conversations that really distort the story and the characters so that it makes no sense and importantly reveals the twist long before the book does. It completely changes the characters and in a scene in the police station falls back on a movie cliche directly contradicted in the book (good cop-bad cop)
User Review - 2/10 by Brad CBoooring. Which is weird, considering the source material.
