| User ReviewAlexis AStowe and Rickman. That's it. Two actors face off and have at it. There is no reason why everyone hasn't seen this film... ok, that's not fair, as it was a stumble across for me. The proceeds from this film went to Amnesty International. Cost to make must have been minimal, price worth watching... depends on one's politics, I presume. Great flick, front to back. |

| User ReviewIndia Bi love this movie. my mom used to show it to her high school classes (theater and english), and i used to show it to my friends in high school. i'd love to see the play. actually, i'd love to act in the play. (and i don't act :)). inspiring and powerful female lead. fascinating set (or lack thereof)... leaves a few questions unanswered by combining the themes of child abuse/molestation and political torture/control... but in the bigger picture these two are very much connected, in my opinion... a preying on the innocent for power, the silencing it creates, and the lifeforce that can continue, somehow.. |
