Full Plot Details

An accident at a nuclear plant causes a radioactive water leak which ends up gruesomely killing a student at a nearby school after the tainted water reaches the drinking fountain and a gang of students turn into violent psychopaths by the runoff from the plant. Leaves from a radioactive marijuana plant located in the yard of the nuclear plant are smoked by a couple and the mutated drug shows itself to have potent aphrodisiac effects, leading the couple to have sex n later the girl immediately becomes pregnant and spits a little monster into a nearby toilet. The creature travels through the water pipes and lands in a barrel filled with radioactive waste, and mutates into a bigger creature causing mayhem in the school.

User Review - 10/10 by Josh SSome of the greatest characters, bad jokes, and mutant meltdowns in high school movie history (although, to be certain, not too many high school movies try the meltdowns, probably because they saw this film and realized they'd never have a shot.)
User Review - 10/10 by Thomas AWhen it comes to stupid trash films, Troma have no equal; and while the vast majority of their output is absolute rubbish, now and again you'll find a few gems in the rough; and unlikely as it may seem, Class of Nuke 'Em High is one such gem. The film presents a post-apocalyptic style similar to that seen in films such as The Warriors and Escape From New York, and blends it with the idea of a school being run by several students; which is reminiscent of the hit thriller Class of 1984. This is all then mixed in with stoner culture; as its toxic weed that causes all the problems, and you have a recipe for a successful trash flick. The film opens with a 'routine nuclear evacuation drill' at Tromaville High; a school situated next to a nuclear power plant. One kid goes mental, and it's not long before we see that a local gang are buying weed from a nuclear plant worker and selling it to the kids at school. The weed grows faster than normal; and there's a reason for that, as toxic waste has contaminated it and pretty soon the kids of Tromaville High start acting rather strangely... If this film was made by any other production company; I'd probably say it has a point to make about the advent of nuclear power, but since this is Troma it's clear that they've simply lifted a common fear and turned it into a schlock film. There's absolutely no point to it; but seeing all the general carnage is a lot of fun, and director Richard W. Haines isn't afraid to go completely over the top, despite the obvious limitations of his special effects budget. The film plays out something like a zombie movie; although there are influences from other sources, and not all the afflicted characters turn into mindless beings. The gang at the centre of the film is an interesting troupe, and their style fits the jokey tone of the film very well. It's good to see a film like this that has a sense of humour, and absolutely nothing in the film is to be taken seriously; shown best by the fact that the central location is 'Tromaville', and is the 'toxic chemical capital of the world'! The special effects towards the end get a little silly, but it's all in good fun; and while this movie won't be to everyone's tastes, if you enjoy schlock horror - you'll love this!
User Review - 10/10 by Robert BAnyone familiar with Troma movies at least knows about The Toxic Avenger. The Nukem High series borrows the idea of nuclear waste gone awry but instead of people turning into super heroes, we see people melted into piles of goo. In fact, the opening scene of this movie features a high school nerd drinking radiated water and quickly melting away in one of the nastiest death scenes I have ever seen. However, the movie does maintain a lighthearted feel, despite being a horror movie. It is a story of love when two high school sweet hearts smoke some rolled leaves that have been irradiated. Instead of turning to goo, they become very amorous and make a little mutant baby. Such a sweet tale, I know. That's when things really go haywire, of course. I am a big fan of this movie, even though the middle of the movie gets a little slow at times. There is gore and nudity, true staples of the Troma horror movies of this era. You can find this movie streaming on Netflix, and I recommend you do. If you dig it, check out the other two, as it only gets better. Or worse, depending on your perspective.

This is also very 80s probllay one of the most 80s troma films of all time. this movie is full of sex violence,drugs,chesse,sleaze,muntants and sheer awsomeness. If your a fan of b-movies and haven't seen this WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????? FUCKING WATCH IT ITS AWESOME.

It has the usual over-the-top quality of Troma, but it spares no expense to go even further than any of their other movies. It has most of the same cast as Toxic Avenger, playing even similar characters, but ti never feels like a rip off or copy. Almost every second of this movies is going 20 miles an hour and you probably have to be tripping balls to truly understand the meaning of this movie

It's got sex, drugs, and Rock n' Roll (with a live performance by the Smithereens). This movie is just 100% fun, and watching it is like watching a party going on. It makes me think that the filming of this probably WAS a party.
