User Review - 10/10 by Allan CGreatest film of all time. In all of the earth. Let it be known.
User Review - 10/10 by Anthony PYeah that's my New Favourite Movie what a Hillarious Anti-Western Charles Bronson as a Apache Halfbreed who shoot a Racist Sheriff and get hunted by a Mob of Hard-Assed Viligants amongst others Jack Palance as a Wise Southern Officer but the Hunters get the Hunted when they rape Chato's Wife and kill his Brother and he swears Revenge and hunt them down. A Gigantic Statement of the War between the Newcomers and the Natives and it's Brutality excellent directed, shot and with a Bombastic Soundtrack totally suspensful and entertaining Charles Bronson is here in one of his best Parts as a Silent, Animalistic and Dangerous Warrior.
User Review - 10/10 by william bAn assembledge of the best character actors of the era in a western adventure.
User Review - 8/10 by Teresa SLong time ago a Friend recommended this Movie to me. It was on TV so watched it. I like some western Movies. A great classic.
User Review - 8/10 by John RAwesome. I've been a little down lately and was just looking for some old time Western fun. This movie provided it to me in spades. The only Western at the store which I hadn't seen. How'd I ever miss this one? Some really classic Western actors portraying the bad, evil, guys. An amazingly conditioned Broson makes them pay. What a blast.
User Review - 8/10 by Leigh OA slick little flick, kind of like an extended, increasingly tense chase scene, in which the posse chasing the Indian gradually turn against each other like pack animals. Sort of like the middle act of First Blood extended into a full movie. Loved it!
User Review - 8/10 by Patrick DThis film is great. There's no real set. Essentially you got Bronson, who plays a half-Apache-half-Caucasian, in a bar, shoots a racist dude who's threatening him. He takes off. Jack Palance gets word of this and gathers men together to hunt him down. Bronson, being the closest to a protagonist, really isn't in this film a lot, and has even fewer lines, than screen time. This sucker basically is all about this motley crew of so-called good-doers on the hunt to the "Breed" (Bronson) and having it out between themselves, Bronson's odd traps, as well as trying to cause Bronson indirect pain, like going after his family. This is a strange film, as it's more a character study, and deals with issues like revenge, duty, belonging, justice, etc. Jack Palance in particular wears a weathered military outfit throughout the film, while he carries out what he figures to be the "right" thing to do. One can see the utter hypocrisy in just his simple existence. It's a definitely an interesting and smart film that should appreciated a hell of a lot more than it is.
User Review - 8/10 by Senor CJack Palance hunting down Charles Bronson in a Michael Winner western is Apache gold. I had put this gem off for far too long
