Movie Reviews

Vue Weekly (Edmonton, Alberta) - 8/10 by Brian GibsonA little too slick and self-aware, [the movie] never sinks under the weight of its themes, but this artsy craft of a film does creak and list en route to a safe, soppy ending.
Globe and Mail - 6/10 by Ray ConlogueBriand's first film, 2 Seconds, was a success. With Chaos and Desire she has overreached herself, but she is an ambitious artist and is moving in an intriguing direction.
Toronto Star - 6/10 by Peter HowellWith a smile halfway between seduction and a smirk, and an intensity that speaks of dark secrets and longing, Bussières has the duality needed to play Alice, a seismologist from sleepy Baie-Comeau.
Jam! Movies - 5/10 by Liz BraunSo visually energetic and smartly written that one never stops enjoying the sheer pleasure of looking at it.
User Review - 10/10 by alexandre gmon encien voisin est un figurans assez important lol, le sauveteur a la fin :P
User Review - 10/10 by Maya HQUEL FILM EXTRAORDINAIRE ... J"ai tout simplement adoré !
User Review - 10/10 by Mithun GThe best movie ever. I can watch it over and over and over again.
User Review - 8/10 by Carl SStrange, sarcastic, poignant, surreal. Like a lot of Quebecois films, it has a certain sentimentality at its heart, but I'll take that over knee-jerk snideness any day. A long, hot, airless dream about fate and redemption.
