| User ReviewMichelle HChain of Command, a straight to DVD film, starring Michael Jai White. The cover of the DVD is somewhat misleading having Steve Austin on the cover. Austin is not in the film that much. So, if you are planning on buying this thinking Austin is a major character on the film, save your money. Otherwise, a cheap looking film. Seems like every scene was either shot in an office building or at the directors home. Really low budget film. But, for a low budget action film. It was surprisingly decent. Again, worth checking out on a boring day. |
| User ReviewPrincess Ashleigh AOh man, this is one for fans of Michael Jai White (like me) to avoid like the plague. Jai White is charismatic, has great screen presence, and is one of the best screen martial artists of all time - but none of that is present in this film. Woeful acting and action choreography abound, with everybody appearing either amateurish or disinterested. The directing and cinematography are abysmal, and have all the hallmarks of a high school film project. Saddest of all, it looks like Jai White has had some completely unnecessary botox or facial surgery that distracts from every scene he's in. I know you're thinking that this might be some fun even though it's bad, but please believe me when I say that you will regret spending your precious time on this film when you could be watching Bone or Undisputed II on DVD. |
