Leave your thoughts about California Scheming.
The Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckDespite the effective performances by its young lead performers, California Scheming mainly comes across as half-baked.
Los Angeles TimesInkoo KangThe film is rescued from its own lumbering self-seriousness by Weber's sensitive portrayal of teen dynamics, but it's never as scary or as creepy as it needs to be.
User ReviewKristina KSomething is missing in this thriller. The story is not developed and the directing is not something you will miss.
User ReviewMike MVery weird film with plenty of ideas but not used how they should have been.
User Reviewsolidity qNothing to see here. Just some over the top teenage shenanigans.
User ReviewDann MUgly and monotonous, California Scheming is a poorly made psychological thriller. The story follows a young girl who seduces two high school boys and manipulates them into carrying out her nefarious schemes. The acting is atrocious, and the directing is even worse. The sets look incredibly cheap, the cinematography is bad, and the sound mixing is awful. But worst of all is the dour and sadistic tone, which is extremely off-putting. Nihilistic garbage, California Scheming doesn't have anything to say and fails to entertain.
