Tara, a young girl wakes up in a room that looks unfamiliar. Before she finds out how she landed up in the room, a conversation in the cafe distracts her. She starts following the voice and discovers that she is on a date with a guy called Cyrus in a cafe that is supposedly suggested by her. Tara's confinement grows on her dramatically as she reaches out to the elements in the room for help or out of habit and her mood swings tend to create an eerie tension in the room. The doors and windows are electrocuted and her phone refuses to recognise her fingerprints. The hand sanitizer is perhaps the only relief while the people talking in the cafe and the music from the lounge coming to her as a podcast from the nearby speakers make it even more irritating for her. Cyrus seems to be genuine and obedient - trying a little too hard to impress while the owner of the cafe Sashi turns the table as he joins the conversation. Is Tara alright? Why is she kept in isolation? Are we looking at a futuristic dating app or is it a husband trying hard to contain an infected wife from the world while keeping her entertained...? The dating bar, Cafe 2022 might not answer all the questions but Tara should survive the testing conditions.
