| User ReviewSteve Sthe much anticipated second film from one of my favorite canadian directors, eric canuel, again teaming up with patrick huard, who i very much enjoy. now before watching this film keep in mind that it's completely twisted, with themes of incest, matricide, and voyeuristic masturbation, but, hell, it's from the guy who brought us "bon cop, bad cop". in my mind he earned it, he can do whatever he wants. i highly recommend this film, but head the warning. |

Par contre, si, pour vous, un bon film est nécessairement et seulement un film où tout le monde est gentil et plein de bons sentiments, ou si vous n'avez pas vraiment de culture cinématographique (c'est-à -dire que vous n'avez jamais vu autre chose que des blockbusters hollywoodiens ou des comédies légères et que vous n'avez jamais entendu parler des films Happiness, The Boss of it All, Das Experiment, Dogville, Lars and the Real Girl ou Amores Perros, par exemple), alors laissez tomber, vous allez trouver ce film dégueulasse. Les autres, ne soyez pas timides, ça vaut la peine d'être vu, ne serait-ce que pour le ''courage'' de tourner une comédie aussi noire dans un marché petit de 7 millions d'habitants - presque un suicide commercial, mais chapeau quand même ! |

| User ReviewIsabelle SUne comédie noire remplie d'intertextualité. �rik Canuel s'est payé du bon temps en reprenant un genre peu filmé au Québec. Les effets de retour en arrière sont brillamment proposés. La trame sonore est impeccable. Le visuel digne des grandes productions. Le problème vient de l'histoire : les cadavres s'accumulent de façon grossière et souvent prévisible. On sourit, parfois jaune, mais c'est tout. Il n'y a pas de tension. Et malgré la noirceur du propos, on ne peine pas pour les miséreux. � noter les quelques lignes de dialogue parachutées, mais savoureuses. |
