User ReviewAdam Ethis starts out an interesting premise of 2 con men looking exactly like 2 scientist who have created nuclear fusion (yeah only in film hey!). So its got roger moore and micheal cane surely a great combination.....for a while at least. About half way through the heist aspect of this film (which was the more interesting part of this) goes all james bond and turns into a spy flick were the scientists are actually baddies trying to sell there idea to the hightest bidder. this is were it goes a bit bizzare and very convulted as scientist caine and con man caine and there partners keep bumping into each other and gets to the stage were the scientists are trying to kill them. so role reversal all the way! The problem here is its far to convaluted with no knowledge of whos who it takes the joy out of it, that and it aint actually that funny! Theres far to many sub plot to do with other characters to! Sure its a giggle or to but with these 2 on board i expected more. Fun enough but nothing mind blowing (unless you count trying to figure out the plot!)
User ReviewKatja ABrittihuumoria. Eli lähinnä kuluneita vitsejä ja ennalta-arvattava juoni. Mutta Michael Caine on aina yhtä loistava. Samaa ei voi sanoa Roger Mooresta.
User Reviewcli oTerrible crime comedy employing the identical doubles theme for Caine and Moore - which always needs to be executed well, sadly it isn't here.
User ReviewJosè MComedia británica de los ochentas sin gracia.
User ReviewBarnaby EA tedious feeble farce which wallows in jokes about excrement. I'd expect this from Michael Winner and Roger Moore after being dumped as Bond, but what was Michael Caine thinking??
User ReviewMarco F"Stay out of the black and in the red, nothing in this game for two in a bed." Oh, wait! No, sorry. That's the wrong Bullseye. This one is directed by Michael Winner, (Alarm bells ringing), and is a contender for a film so hilariously bad, you can't believe it got made. It's technical ineptitude is jaw-dropping, and it's hilarious for all the wrong reasons. :O :P This has two con-men, Sidney Lipton (Michael Caine) and Garald Bradley-Smith (Roger Moore), who happen to resemble two crooked scientists working on nuclear energy, Dr. Eddie Hicklar (Caine again) and Sir John Bevistock (Moore again). So, they decide to pull off a con against these two, with the help of Willie (Sally Kirkland), however, the real scientists get wind of what the con men are up to. With a script by the writers of The New Statesman and Birds of a Feather, there is comedy in this hopeless film, but not in the right places. Winner's direction fumbles from one hopeless scene to the next, which is a shame as Caine and Moore make two good double acts. It's a case of "Lets have a look at what you could have won" with this film. Even the extras in the crowd scenes and the police are unconvincing!! :P
