A diferencia de la mayoría de las películas del Oeste, trata de no caer en el racismo, incluso defiende a los indios, que lo único que hacían era defender su tierra usurpada. Un gran clásico del Cine y mi Western favorito de todos los tiempos ;-)

Wellman directing Joel McCrea (as Buffalo Bill) Maureen O'Hara, Linda Darnell, Anthony Quinn and Edgar Buchanan, which made me think this film would be better. Still, this romanticized and not exactly historically accurate version of Buffalo Bill Cody's life entertaining enough and certainly worth watching for western fans.
User Review - 6/10 by Bill TNot a bad bio here of the Western pioneer here.. Doubt that all of it is true, but oh well. Kept waiting for McRea to burst into song, but that was not the case. It got more entertaining once Bill was out of the plains and into the big city, just like everything else I suppose.
User Review - 6/10 by Tom HVery nice story, even though it's a little bit flavoured from the real story. Actors and landscapes are good and this really does not feel like 64 year old movie, it can handle the weight of time really well.
