Leave your thoughts about Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein.
Cinema CrazedFelix Vasquez Jr.A masterpiece filled with raucous laughs, great spooks, and a wicked final scene.
EmanuelLevy.ComEmanuel LevyOne of the funniest comedies in the couple's long series of films that use Universal's classic horrors.
Apollo GuideDavid ConnerAbbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein shows off both the comedy team and the monsters at their best, ranking in my book with Ghostbusters as one of the best horror-comedies ever.
Kansas City KansanSteve CrumTHE best of Abbott and Costello's zany films, this time with Lugosi and Chaney playing their monsters seriously, which makes A&C's reactions hilarious.
Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN)Bob BloomA classic mixture of horror and comedy, one of the best in this genre and one of A&C's finest moments.
Antagony & EcstasyTim BraytonWhile the the film is representative of the absolute worst of Universal horror... it is one of the very best Abbott and Costello vehicles.
Movie ChambersPaul ChambersThe first of three films to pair the comedy team with Universal's monsters. Moderately amusing.
Chicago ReaderDave KehrThis 1948 effort is probably the last of their watchable films, though it's a long way from their best.
User ReviewKent NClassic! A&C's humor is timeless! It's great to even see big names such as Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr., and Glenn Strange! The movie is one of Abbott and Costello's best, in my personal opinion. And like the classic horror films of the time, it has that aura of spookiness about it that SO many of today's horror films lack!
User ReviewCraig BOne of the best horror/comedies ever! The three major movie monsters with Abbott & Costello..... Ya gotta love that!
