User ReviewNadieha PThis is a realistic and relatable Philadelphia story about a star basketball player named Sergio Taylor. While he attends the famous Overbrook High School he tries to navigate his way through the trials and tribulations he faces his senior year. Sergio and his siblings experience life changing events through-out the movie while they all try to make a better future for themselves. Jackie, his sister begins dating her new boyfriend Chris who is from the rival side "the hill" un-liked by their brother at first but, he will later grow fond of him. His well respected brother, June who is from "the bottom" is involved in the ongoing city side and drug related drama. June's drama causes their mother to gain injury and while they try to stick together Jackie discovers life transforming information. Sergio tries to overcome it all by focusing on his future in basketball but, when money runs low he is peer pressured into another hustle. The plot is drama fulfilling without a dull moment making you want to cling on to every scene. The twisted, surprising, and unexpected ending will leave you in awe.
User ReviewMalikea SThe movie Brotherly Love is a groundbreaking dramatic film that holds your attention from the first scene until the last. The main theme that holds true is that family matters and, moreover, ALL LIVES MATTER! I appreciated the fact that the plot was thick and NOT predictable. Just when you thought a certain something would happen--the writer cleverly turned the tables on the viewer which made the movie extremely engaging. Cory Hardricts, KeKe Palmer, and Eric Hill's performances were phenomenal!!! This movie is real and relevant to today's audience, as well as those that remember what it's like to be young and in love.
User ReviewJade BLoved it. Drama. Suspense. Unpredictable! Exciting. Sad. Awesome.
User ReviewJamie CThis movie was truly good! I really recommend many of you to watch it??
User ReviewRegina SReally well done, with a great story! New for me, Cory Hardrict, Quincy Brown and Eric Hill were impressive....and of course Keke Palmer, Macy Gray and Romeo gave the solid performances we have come to expect from them. Underrated...completely.
User ReviewSonja LViewing his skills in American Sniper and now in Brotherly Love left me spellbound. His ability to draw me in and hold my attention impressed me. I was surprised by the ending and as a whole I give Brotherly Love two thumbs up! Jamal Hill keep on producing and writing, and I will keep watching and waiting for the next film.
