Family Home TheaterJames PlathThe acting is bad, the cheerleading acrobatics take a backseat to online insults, and the characters are so cardboard you could knock them over with a little finger or hearty belch.
Common Sense MediaRenee SchonfeldUninspired cheerleading sequel has cursing, innuendo.
User ReviewJudith MThis is literally the worst movie I have ever seen. Movie quality has really gone down due to the makers trying to create a sense of relativity to kids that is obvious and god awfully annoying, but this movie was beyond. every time she said hashtag something I fought the urge to punch her. bring it on was such an iconic title of movies and not all have been everyone's flavor but this was by far the biggest failure of the series and probably of our generation so far.
User ReviewCaleigh Mit was so terrible honestly. compared to every other bring it in movie this one was tacky, rushed, and not thought though. the acting is bad and so is the plot
User ReviewCaitlin LThis movie was a step down for the Bring It On franchise. The characters were shallow millennial stereotypes, with the main character being saved from her social-media narcissism by a wise "street artist" who reminds her to "pay attention to something other than a 5-inch screen". The movie has enough words with "cheer" or "fem" thrown in to make the PitchPerfect writers cringe. The hand-waved explanation is the words are "feminized to give them strength". The twist was stale, the characters are undeveloped, and worst of all the cheer was just okay.
User ReviewLill LI couldn't make it through the whole movie because it was so bad. It didn't help that the main character was a whiny brat that thought everything was about her
