User ReviewMichelle HAbsolutely awesome film about an unknown but talented punk singer who cracks from the pressure of her fast rise to fame.
User ReviewColin FOne of my favourite films of all time, more for the music than the film. Hazel O' Connor stars as a singer who becomes a pop star who cant handle the fame and eventually has a mental breakdown (a bit like the SUBO of the early 1980's! but much nicer). Also features the great Phil Daniels and even Carver from The Bill! Great film but I don not think it would be eveyones cup of tea but great stuff.
User ReviewWayne ZThis film made me cry! And any film that is able to do that must be good! I haven't watched it since though because i don't want to be crying when i watch a film - i'm not a girl. Look out for a cameo from my hero, Rat Scabies (original drummer of THE DAMNED) who can be seen auditioning for the band and playing the guitar with a drum stick. Some pretty good tunes in this too, like the one where she's pretending to be a robot.
