User ReviewKevin Gsoooo...good and funny...we are not ninjas! haha
User ReviewDaniel DTruly a gem found @ my local thrift store for 2.99 and i must say money well spent. On the surface this movie seems rather hollow and mundane but upon closer inspection we find the story of a man and his fight over communism. The dice man shows a wide array of acting seemingly altering between rays of rocky and guy's from the Jersey Shore. Like all great heroes, we find that the dice man is good at what he does and shows a fierce exterior yet we later find his marshmellow center when we meet his parents and find the hart felt relationship he has with them when he asks them for money. Teri hatcher give one of her famous im still hot because i'm under 30 performances and serves for some unintenionally funny comedy like when she sneaks into the night club and the dice man tracks her down only to find a hoard of the masses doing the thriller to some pink floyd knock off. But back to the trimph over communism and how the symbols of the movie represent more than they seem and how the lotus represents all that we are urged to find and that is power. Power of course being shown by money and the struggle between east and west and the balanced equation that if not kept can cause people to implode like the guy from big trouble in little china. In the end we find that the lotus is too much for any person to have and while our differences are great we learn that ninja's, bouncer's, and even supermodel's have there place in the battle for our nations economy.
User ReviewMark Kfrom a guys point of view this movie is a crack up Andrew dice clay is a legend in my eyes though, this ain't no ford fairlane but the one liners are still gold in this movie also
User ReviewDalbert BAlbert Pyun is a friend and an inspiration. His ability to create pure entertainment with low budget films is flawless, and none more so than this hilarious kung fu parody, rom-com with the loud mouthed Andrew Dice-Clay and Teri Hatcher. Hardly stopping fo a breath, Brain Smasher is solid entertainment, with some inventive camera work and fun action scenes. A hidden gem in the world of fantasy... See it!
User ReviewPrivate ULost Albert Pyun classic. A fun little film, worth watching for the brief double-team cameo of Brion James and Tim Thomerson.
User ReviewJustin MIt is pretty fun. Andrew Dice Clay is an idiot.
User ReviewDean MQuite good action-comedy with Andrew Dice Clay as a nightclub bouncer kicking monks' (known as villians) asses. First time I ever saw Clay made his action sequences without weapons since The Adventures of Fair Fairlane
User ReviewBrian BThis is the last relevant thing that Clay ever did. There were some very funny scenes in this.
User ReviewKelly CWe are not ninjas! This movie, unsurprisingly, makes no sense, but it has some truly hilarious moments. These masked evil monks want to eat a flower, and are really violent with some innocent musicians, so Teri Hatcher enlists the protection of Andrew Dice Clay. The whole crew crashes through a dozen or so balsa wood doors, and there are a couple pretty intense walking chase battles. The film also features "Queen Kong" in the memorable role of Bertha. I don't know how this obtained financing, crew, or actors, but I'm reasonably glad it did.
User ReviewDon SThe Diceman is not for everyone, but I enjoy his corny accent and over the top comedy. Here he pairs with the hot, young Teri Hatcher in an action movie taking on Shaolin Monks (basically Chinese Ninjas) to prevent them from world domination. Hijinx ensue. Short and watchable but not believable in the least.
