Leave your thoughts about Bollywood Hero.
SlateTroy PattersonIt must be said that Bollywood Hero is an entirely novel kind of slog.
New York TimesGinia BellafanteWhat follows are dopey cultural clashes; scuttled financing for the film; further wounds to Chris the character's professional self-esteem; and efforts, alas, at tender emotionalism and Acting.
User ReviewJason KHilarious! An interesting drama that interconnects a Hollywood actor's humorous approach in working on a Bollywood film project. Chris Kattan travels to India to work in an independent director's Bollywood film alongside a reputable Bollywood starlet. Chris Kattan, Neha Dhupia, Julian Sands, Pooja Kumar, and Ali Fazal stars. Worthy!
User ReviewTim MChris Kattan is just pure comedic genius here & not too mention he does a very good job as a bollywood film lead!! This movie has a lot of funny scenes with some pretty cool cameos by other famous people i.e. keanu reeves poking fun at himself and the always funny maya rudolph, but the film has a very good Indian cast that does a superb job. If you want a cool bollywood musical comedy that is great for some funny comedy & a funny romantic comedy also thrown for good measure, than you'll definitely enjoy this.
User ReviewKevin M. WHollywood and Bollywood sorta combine in this film about making a film comedy wherein Kattan (playing himself) longs to be seen as an action star rather than a goofball comedian, and so goes to India, Played with the kind of insider wink the Bob Hope films (without Crosby) used to have ... without the wink to really sell it. The Indian cast all do well, which grants this an extra star than I meant to give.
User ReviewTaft Wvery funny...very entertaining! it helps to like Chris Kattan (and I do)...
User ReviewMelissa HSmart, creative, tons of heart. And so much dancing!
User ReviewTricia JHad a lot of potential with even an exciting and engrossing first half, but the final installment of the series was quite mediocre with an abrupt ending. Sub-standard performances (except that of the female producer/director, who was excellent, and the grandma) and amateur direction. Songs are ear-screeching.
User ReviewMansi AI started to think the last third of this movie was getting better...but it really wasn't. A pretty useless movie about a Bollywood movie being made. You know how that goes...
