Full Plot Details

Laurie and Hugh are a successful young couple who have just closed on a weekend home away from the city. Unbeknownst to them, the neighboring property contains the crumbling remains of a boarding school that was shuttered in the wake of an unspeakable massacre. The sole survivor of that massacre still resides in the ruins of the school, hiding from the world and wanting only to be left alone. When Laurie and Hugh's friends explore the property, they have no idea that they disturbed an emotionally-broken killing machine: The Blood Widow.

Starburst - 5/10 by Andrew PollardHas some good moments, particularly in its final third, plus a stylish, twisted killer at its core, but the film comes across as rushed and as if the writers just ran out of ideas for its finale, which is a massive shame.

The music is great and there were a lot of creepy camera shots, especially of Widow watching her soon to be victims. It's gory, as you would expect, but it's very well done. It all fits together and the suspense literally had me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to learn more about Blood Widow in the sequel!

BUT WHO THE FUCK WRITES THIS PIECE OF SHIT. Oh my yeezus. The only reason this gets one star is because the villians character design is BAD ASS. It's a shame The Blood Widow had to be in such a shitty movie because she really could have been a fresh new face in horror.

User Review - 2/10 by Japes .You can tell it's a student film by the poor lighting in some shots. If they got the chance to make a movie, you'd think they'd make one that has a little more substance than a person/thing/ghost killing people. We've only seen that 1 trillion times before. There's no character development, bad acting, no plot (literally there's not a plot) and the ending makes you say well, there was no point to this, was there?
