Clark Ewald and his pregnant wife, Summer, are on their way to her parents. They take a lonely road through the Nevada desert. They pass by a walker dressed like a cowboy and later they stop for the night in a motel. In the morning they return to the road while the cowboy leaves. Fifty miles from the hotel, the couple has a car accident and they decide to walk to the next town. | User ReviewSteve ZSimply amazing on so many levels. The most refreshing indie I've seen in quite some time. It gave me hope that there are still good films being made out there! It makes you think, and I like that...about what God is, what angels and demons are, what love and hate is, what compassion and vengeance are, etc. Beautiful landscape, as well, and great acting. Highly recommended, though the only place I know where to watch it is online. Can't find it anywhere! |

While this film will be slow for most audiences, it definitely touches on an aspect of horror that most films don't even come close to. I also have to give Andrew Howard a special mention, his performance will leave you haunted long after the film is done. |

I just happened upon this movie one night and decided to give it a shot, and I was very surprised by just how good I thought it was. It is one of those psychological / spiritual thrillers that has a good mix of each so they balance each other, unlike other films that push one side or the other. If you are stuck in the house on a rainy day and need something to watch, give this a try. |
| User ReviewRay TA well constructed thriller that takes some patience because the dialogue and situation seem contrived and stilted at first. This young couple gets stranded in the desert and meets up with a Bible spouting drifter in a cowboy like persona. Having seen the film, I think I need to see it again to see how the earlier pieces that I dismissed fall into place or not. And warning - there is a lot of dialogue in this movie but most all quite potent and relevant in hindsight. |

The film keeps me thinking about a lot of things during and after watching. I recommended this to some of my friends who enjoyed NO Country For Old Men. Some might think why this film, or some might Ye, right. Depends on personal point really. To me, it was like No Country For Old Men. So, if you like films having a lot of psychological meanings, this film will make you feel like you have spent a month and half for thinking about yourself within prox an hour and half. |

| User ReviewPatrick FSPOILERS!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS FILM. A good solid serial killer film, well at least for the first hour, and then it becomes more and more supernatural, and the stuff that miracles are made of. The ironic thing here, is that the level of acting, specially the two male leads, are so authentic and real, that when things take a turn for the supernatural, I became confused, as to motives, who was the real killer ? And who killed who ? The director, and writer should have kept it real all the way, the movie would have been so much better. But still, a solid film about serial killers, and existential questions. |
