Movie Reviews

Starburst - 8/10 by John KnottBava's use of colour was something of a signature and became a hallmark of giallo.
The Dissolve - 7/10 by Noel MurrayEven with Boris Karloff providing a lighthearted introduction and sign-off, Black Sabbath is fraught with fatalism.
ESplatter - 6/10 by Steve BiodrowskiOnly one episode [of this anthology] reaches the critical mass that explodes into the kind of absolute terror that will satisfy skeptic and fan alike, but that is more than enough to make this essential viewing.
Combustible Celluloid - 6/10 by Jeffrey M. AndersonI'm not easily scared, but this one gave me chills.
Reel Film Reviews - 5/10 by David Nusair...a trilogy of sporadically chilling yet ultimately ineffective horror tales...
About.com - 2/10 by Staci Layne WilsonA Drop of Water is definitely the most atmospheric and creepy of the three tales.
User Review - 10/10 by Elizabeth M3 good short films, but the best (and most famous) is 'A Drop of Water', the moral of which is "don't steal from the dead". That face will give you nightmares
User Review - 10/10 by J KMario Bava's Best Horror film. Three stories that chilled me to the bone especially "The Drop of Water" which is about a nurse who steals a dead womans ring... At the end her eyes have gone all to hell, their appearance gave me nightmareS! "The Wurdalak" was a crazy zombie/vampire/undead story it played like Gypsy Folktale. "The Telephone" was a stalker type story that is a surprise at the end. GREAT MOVIE & GREAT ACTING see it.
User Review - 10/10 by Lee TClassic horror anthology from Mario Bava. The third segment ['The Drip'] is truly frightening. An atmospheric treat filmed in gorgeous colour.
User Review - 10/10 by chase _Bava at the most stunningly beautiful. Each scene is arranged to perfection- color, dolls, iron grates, tree limbs, shadows, all! The stories are weak, but who cares when the film looks this good?
