User ReviewJairusHail Black Metal!!!!! Kin of the black flame!!
User ReviewAaron AI'm giving this movie 4 stars for the simple reason that it spreads teh message of how ignorant and naive most of these "black metal" musicians are. It was like watching an episode of Metalocalypse. I will say this out of all these idiots Cronos(venom), Olve (immortal), Mortiis (mortiis) and Grutle (enslaved) seem to be the few who just want to genuinely have fun and play the music they love.
User ReviewKarin JTo make a documentary you have to know how to edit a movie,ok so it wasen't supposed to be this big production but to be interesting for the viewer and to make a point at all the editing has to be good and you can't just throw something together and that's that.. And why use a band like Gloomy grim who uses a fucking mic like Britney spears and looks like he sings playback? Btw,just because you have naked or half-naked women in a movie,it doesn't make it any better... The documentary "Metal:a headbangers journey" is a better choice for those interested in metal...
User ReviewVincent BA murky, poorly made documentary. This is a topic that I was truly interested in learning more about. However, it had no sense of structure to it- it hopped randomly from one aspect to another, without much guidance from the creators. Mostly a poorly sewn together series of bad concert footage and fuzzy-sounding interviews.
User ReviewJoshua TTo be fair, I only watched some of this...but that's because it became really repetitive and hard to watch. Wait...it was hard to watch as soon as it came on! The interviews could have been interesting...and the culture is one that intruiges me...but this was not that informative.
