User Review - 10/10 by Rob SThis was Bill at the height of his career--. In England, where he was more appreciated, and with more original material than in other recordings.
User Review - 10/10 by Ivan BEasily one of the greatest stand-up comics ever, Bill Hicks kills it in England. He's filled with the right energy and every bit is as memorable as the last one. RIP Bill.
User Review - 10/10 by Paul SA comedian that always says what comes to his mind, that tries to shake people and make them think for themselves, that loves to provoke thought with sharp comments and sometimes absolute obscenities. A genius, I really miss him.
User Review - 10/10 by Vincent OPossibly the best Bill Hicks performance, occurred here in London at the Dominion and I wish I could turn back the clock, so I could have appreciated the legendary Bill Hicks (live), before he tragically passed away. At the time I remember seeing this one advertised and really wanting to go, anyway the video/DVD release has the whole show recorded and this was his very last performance on his 'Revelations Tour'. At least we can see an artist pass over at the hight of his creativity and even the great Bill Hicks would have found it difficult to have topped this. Still I really miss him and he was one of the most unique individuals ever to grace the comedy circuit.
User Review - 10/10 by Lucas MThe man is an eye opener. I've always looked up to comedians, their tremendous ability to make people laugh and let them forget about problems... Well Bill said, as always "FUCK THAT!". That's Bill, you want to laugh, you wanna have fun? Good.. but you may as well learn a thing or two... or you might as well learn to use you're fucking BRAIN! "PLAY FROM YOUR FUCKIN' HEART!!!!!"
User Review - 10/10 by Matt f23 years later and we still have the same issues we have today...very well done/said!
User Review - 8/10 by Samantha GI can only imagine what he would have to say about the state of the world if he were alive today.
User Review - 8/10 by Andrew BI saw 'Revelations' and the tribute 'Just A Ride'. it is sad that his life was ended so suddenly. the man is an addict a bit twisted he grossed me out a couple of times. But he has a lot of balls and is being honest as far as how he sees things and basically his heart is in the right place. definitely check out all his different shows, i really liked 'Just a Ride'.
User Review - 8/10 by Michael CGreat special, including the bits about advertising and Basic Instinct.
User Review - 8/10 by xGary XThe legendary stand up routine he performed at the London Dominion, this is the epitome of Bill Hicks and everything he stood for. As one of his contempoaries once said, Hicks has an unflinching honesty born of not having any networks or studios to answer to, and he was far more interested in exploring the hypocrisies and injustices of the world he lived in than filling his pockets with what he saw as blood money. It contains his tirades against the US invasion of Iraq in which he likens his government to Jack Palance in Shane; "Pick up the gun!", his bile soaked assault on advertising and marketing executives. "Kill yourselves. No joke here, really. Seriously, kill yourself, you have no rationalisation for what you do, you are Satan's little helpers. Kill yourself, kill yourself, kill yourself now." and the infamous "suck Satan's cock" routine. Hicks had an uncompromising honesty that is sorely lacking in this day and age, and as great a tragedy his death was, it's a comfort that a young, angry and incorruptible Hicks will forever be heard. The closest thing to a comedy rock star there has ever been.
